School Site Council
The purpose of the School Site Council (SSC) is to review, revise, and approve the school’s annual School Plan, a comprehensive plan designed to improve the effectiveness of the school instructional program. The SSC meets several times throughout the year to assess student needs and achievement, review, revise, and approve the School Plan, including categorical budgets, and monitor the School Plan's implementation. Members of the SSC include the school principal, classroom teachers, other school staff members, and parents/community members. Members of the SSC are elected by their peers.
